D.D.R. (Divorced Dad Rock) is a modern rock project built on the spirit of the great arena bands of the ’80s, where soaring guitars, huge choruses, and honest storytelling still matter.

Created by Indiana songwriter and novelist Stephen Paul, D.D.R. blends melodic hard rock with emotionally honest storytelling that explores love, loss, regret, resilience, and the strange humor that often survives life’s hardest moments.

Whether it’s the emotional weight of Don’t Tell Me How to Grieve, the defiant optimism of Anything Less Than More, or the tongue-in-cheek chaos of songs like Fire at Will, every release is written with one goal:
